Prepare Team Operating Plan, Unit Manager

Description

The unit manager prepares an operating plan for the next period according to the timing of the business management calendar (or when the team is created).

 

The operating plan defines how the group delivers its mission in line with the long range plan.  The operating plan is also aligned with the parent team and other teams within the same functional area.

 

The operating plan covers 100% of the work performed by the group during the planning period.  

 

The operating plan contains the objectives and strategies for the team for this planning period as well as the forecasted resource requirements to meet these objectives and strategies.  Both financial and non-financial (quality) objectives are included in the plan.

  • Resource Requirements defined
  • Contingency plans and trigger criteria defined
  • Operating Plan Reviewed and Approved
