Introduction - Value to Customers

Purpose

In 2019, we have changed our purpose for Customer Driven Solutions Limited.

We see each individual person and the many human activity systems they are part of as our customers.

The earth and its systems is our system-of-interest.

 

Our purpose is to help all types of people and their human activity systems to collaborate and take actions to:

  • achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals according to the principles in the Earth Charter
  • integrate the work already being done in these areas (adopt / adapt not reinvent).
  • create a big picture view of the systems that need to change and the changes that are required.
  • create a world that supports future generations of life on the earth
  • understand and build on the history of our ancestors
  • ensure we protect the earth's ability to sustain all life on earth.

Underlying all of these statements is the need to change at the personal and social system levels. Our primary focus for our purpose is to understand and support the changes needed to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and beyond

Products and Services

We will use our skills, knowledge and experience to deliver the following types of products and services:

Services in the areas of change and development:

  • Programme and project management solutions to specific problems that align with specific UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Training courses for individuals or specific human activity systems (social systems).
  • Management System or process improvement projects and services
  • Artistic and performance related services (production management, etc)

Specific Products

  • Architectural Models for planetary system of systems.
  • Architectural models for enterprises and organizations based upon living systems

We have everything we need to avoid a climate catastrophe; however, in a very fragmented and not understood way. As a result, we believe:

  • Collaboration and sharing are key to creating the future solutions
  • Solutions are available today that are not being used or implemented
  • Every person must share the responsibility of achieving the goals

Our strategies are as follows:

  • Build networks of like minded people or organizations
  • Create 'creative commons' solutions that are open and can be shared and used.
  • Collaborate with individuals or organizations to align our objectives and work.
  • We use our skills, knowledge and experience to deliver to our commitments

Business Continuity and Risk Assessment

We want to be part of the solution to achieving the goals rather than part of the problem.

This brings many challenges and risks

  • Collaboration requires a shared vision and aligned objectives.
    We now know that this is a human challenge and will require us to improve our communication and collaboration skills.
  • The value of our contribution may be difficult to quantify or sell
    We will look at many ways to identify funding for our work. Some will be direct and others indirect (crowd sourcing).
  • We may be too late
    Our actions may come too late to be of use. The climate tipping point may have already been reached. Our contribution may change as a result of this.
