Planning a Phase, Project Manager
Description
This process is triggered near the end of the current Phase to evaluate progress during the current phase and produce the plan for the next phase. The following steps are performed to prepare for the next phase:
- Preparing a detail plan for the phase
- Updating a Project Plan
- Updating a Project Business Case
- Updating the Risk Log
The Project ManagerDay to Day Management of the Project - appointed by Corporate / Programme Management. may also produce an Exception Plan (same format as the current project plan) to include the impact of an Exception Report on this phase.
Audit Criteria
At the end of each phase, the following are available:
- Revised Project Plan Available that includes the detail for the next Phase Plan (Section 4.0)
- Revised Business Case Available
- Revised Risk Log Available
