Close Team, Unit Manager
Description
From time to time a team may no longer be required to contribute to the mission of the organisation. This may be due to changes to move towards the vision, a change in the business environment, an improved way to provide the capabilities of the team or poor performance.
A controlled close of the team is required for any of the above reasons.
Closing a team requires the release or transfer of all resources as well as any of the current commitments to projects, clients or other objectives in the organisation.
Audit Criteria
- People released or transferred
- Work / commitments handed over to appropriate people
- Final operating plan with actuals produced.
