Pilot the Change, Process Manager
Description
The process is tested to ensure that the process is usable and meets the requirements / metrics set for the process and the benefits are achieved for the overall business change.
The following are typically performed:
- Training and coaching is provided to individuals or teams using the process.
- Ensure that managers assess the competency of individuals using the process
- Reviews of the use of the process are held
- Audits may be held as formal reviews
- Tools are evaluated for effectiveness in supporting the process.
- Benefits are identified and evaluates.
A review is typically held to review changes prior to finalising the process. Any changes agreed to the process are made and the next (first) release of the process is issued.
A final readiness review provides an opportunity for a final check of the process effectiveness prior to roll-out.
Audit Criteria
- Pilot teams trained to use the process (or relevant parts)
- The process is being applied effectively
- Changes and updates applied to the materials
- Benefits are measured and evaluated
- A readiness review is held and decision to proceed obtained.
