Innovation activities are those activities where the creativity of the entire organization is applied to:
- Improving the products and services delivered to customers
- or the way the products and services are delivered to customers.
In general, the innovation activities involve change in the organization, either at an individual or organizational level.
The pattern used by the processes in this section are a life cycle. A life cycle describes the whole life cycle of an object that starts from its creation to its eventual release or destruction.
There are many types of life cycles that are available for organizations to use. These are the primary life cycles used in Customer Driven Solutions Limited.

The Core Innovation and Development Processes establish the life cycles used in programme and project management practices. These processes are:
The Capability Innovation Lifecycle process is used to establish or improve a process. This process ensures that all of our critical activities are identified and can be improved as we learn from our experience. This process includes the provision of new or revised documentation and training along with coaching and support during implementation. This life cycle integrates any technology that may have been selected or developed for this capability.
The Product / Service Innovation Lifecycle Process is used to establish or improve current product or service offerings. (this also includes service, warranty and training)
The Solution Development Life cycle Process is used as a generic life cycle for delivering any type of solution to a set of requirements.
The Software Development Life cycle Process is used to establish or improve current software product or related service offerings.
