Lost Opportunities
This section defines the retention and status change requirements for lost opportunities. The status for lost opportunities will always be set to 'Lost Opportunity'.
If the opportunity is lost after a proposal has been submitted to the client, the opportunity folder must be saved along with any relevant notes pertaining to the negotiations and proposed solution.
In all other cases, contents of the opportunity folder may be binned, except for the opportunity record /cost sheet which is to be filed in Alphabetical order in the ‘Lost Opportunities’ file.
