Initiating a Phase, Project Manager
Description
The Initiating a Phase activity initiates the start of the elaboration of the next phase plan within section 4 of the Project Plan.
The Scope (definition of the work for the next phase) is confirmed. The project organization is also revised or actions raised to initiate changes for the next phase.
The project manager then reviews the phase deliverables and activities defined in the project plan and confirm that these are still relevant for the next stage. Any changes to the scope of the next phase will be addressed and incorporated into the relevant part of section 4.0 of the Project Plan.
Audit Criteria
- Project Plan reviewed
- Any scope changes agreed and approved for the next phase.
