Description
Closing a project provides an orderly close to the project whether it ends successfully or prematurely. The Project ManagerDay to Day Management of the Project - appointed by Corporate / Programme Management. performs the following steps to complete this process:
- De-commissioning a Project
- Identifying Follow-on Actions
- Project Evaluation Review
This process is performed near the end of the last stage of the project. (This PRINCE2® process is not a stage - however, there may be a management stage defined to close the project where the project is large and de-commissioning may take some time.)
Audit Criteria
- Resources have been released
- User Acceptance Signoff received
- Operational / Support Acceptance received
- End Project Report Prepared
- Post Project Review Plan Approved (if required).
- Project File Archived
