Stage Status Management
Status management consists of the following process steps:
- CS5 - Reviewing Stage Status
- CS6 - Reporting Highlights
- CS7 - Taking Corrective Action
- CS8 - Escalating Project Issues
The Project ManagerDay to Day Management of the Project - appointed by Corporate / Programme Management. assesses the stage status regularly and takes corrective action as necessary. Highlights are reported according to the plan for the stage.
CS5 also triggers the next stage planning process near the end of the current stage and the closing a project process near the end of the last stage of the project.
Should issues cause the project tolerance to be exceeded, an exception report is prepared and submitted to the project board.
