Identify Alternative Solutions, Chief Architect

Description

Identify any possible solutions that meet the requirements that have been identified. These solutions must be feasible, ie meet the project constraints, and identify any special skills or competencies that may be required to develop the alternatives.

All possible solutions are identified with potential to meet the requirements.

The solutions are captured in one or more High Level Design documents to provide a smooth transition to developing the complete high level design.

The alternatives are reviewed.

The selection criteria for the most appropriate alternative are documented in the design document and the project plan.
