The product is developed according to the specifications and plans developed in the planning stage.

The production process is used to produce any engineering prototypes and the support processes are prepared to support the qualification of the product.

The sales materials are prepared for use during the qualification of the product.  This may include field trials, or field tests of the product.

Change control and configuration management are fully tracking issues to closure.
